CanonBeach_inlineCANNON BEACH, Ore.—Pastors and wives from churches in the Baptist Network Northwest spent Sept. 8–11 at the Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center for a fall Ministry Retreat. Four men spoke on “Pastors’ Passion”: Don Duty, BNN regional director; David Lundsford, pastor of First Baptist Church, Ferndale, Wash.; Stacey McClain, pastor of First Baptist Church of University Place, Wash.; Phil Perry, pastor of Prairie Baptist Fellowship, Yelm, Wash.; and Andy Grenier, pastor of First Baptist, Moses Lake, Wash.

Each speaker shared his heart as he encouraged fellow pastors and their wives in the work of the ministry. The men spoke on the topics “Passion Fruit,” “More than I Signed up For,” “Sticking with It When Everyone Else Is Calling It Quits,” and “Ministry among the Cannibalistic Sheep.”

“One of the unique blessings of this conference is the true fellowship that occurs,” McClain says. “It’s good for brothers to strive together!”
