In Sebring, Florida, Maranatha Baptist Church and Maranatha Village are sharing the joy and meaning of Christmas.
The church choir and residents of Maranatha Village, a retirement community, went Christmas caroling in downtown Sebring. They also gave passersby candy canes and invitations to the church’s upcoming musical.
At Marantha Village, decorations throughout the community are also sharing the joy and meaning of Christmas.
“Resident Sam Hammel has led the way by acquiring a large Biblical Christmas scene,” Maranatha Village says. The colorful Nativity scene features illustrations of Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus and several people who visited the three after Jesus’ birth.
