Sunshine Baptist Fellowship Holds Annual Conference

SunshineFellowshine_inlineOKAHUMPKA, Fla.—Berean Baptist Church hosted the annual fall conference of the Sunshine Baptist Fellowship. Dr. James Lytle was the guest speaker, using his perspective as president of Summit University as a source to challenge attendees on “Reaching the Next Generation.” The challenge, he says, is not only to reach across generations and cultures, but to reach across the street.

Several new pastors were welcomed to the fellowship, and guests reluctantly said farewell Bob and Diane Ericsson. Bob served on the fellowship’s Council of Ten while church planting with the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism. The Ericssons helped strengthen Ambassador Baptist Church in Miami and are now moving on to help multicultural church plants in Texas.

During a business meeting led by Pastor Jim Stultz, council chairman, seven men were elected to the Council of Ten.

Berean hosted a final send-off lunch as the conference ended, and everyone went home to their ministries having been blessed, challenged, and encouraged.
