Students Enjoy Winter Retreat in Montana

KALISPELL, Montana—Lake Blaine Baptist Bible Camp hosted its annual winter retreat for students Dec. 31–Jan. 2 as a “time to reflect on 2019 and recharge for 2020.” The retreat included students in grades 7–12 and the first year of college. In addition to enjoying indoor and outdoor activities at the camp, the students studied the topic “What Is God Doing Today?”

God desires that believers have the characteristics of Christ, Pastor Tim Lacock told the students. God planned from the beginning of time that when people profess Him as Savior, they “would look more and more like Jesus Christ,” he said. “So what is God doing today?” he asked. Romans 8:29, he said, tells us that God is conforming us to the image of His Son. Our actions, words, and thoughts should look more and more like those of Jesus.

“It was evident that the Lord was doing a work in our lives as we sat under the sound preaching of God’s Word,” the camp says. Listen to all five messages at lbbbc.org.

Lake Blaine Baptist Bible Camp was founded in 1953 by the pastors of the Montana Regular Baptist Fellowship.
