SnoBlast1_inlineCARNATION, Wash.—Camp Gilead hosted its annual Junior High Snowblast for the Baptist Network Northwest. Students in sixth through ninth grades enjoyed two days of snow tubing on Snoqualmie Pass as well as spiritual challenges and encouragement from Andrew Shopf, pastor of First Baptist Church, Soap Lake, Washington.

Located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains and on the banks of the Snoqualmie River, Camp Gilead has been ministering to students and families since 1948. It is one of several camps affiliated with the National Association of Regular Baptist Camps and holds year-round retreats for students, adults, and families. On May 30 people of all ages will participate in the camp’s River Run 5K, a fun run/walk, to help raise money for camper scholarships.
