Refresh Conference Encourages Christian Leaders

ANKENY, Iowa—Faith Baptist Bible College hosted its second annual Refresh Conference for Christian leaders and their spouses Jan. 31–Feb. 3. This year’s conference had over 220 guests, who came ready to be refreshed in the Word of God and Christian fellowship.

Conference guests enjoyed the preaching of Dr. Gary Anderson, president emeritus of Baptist Mid-Missions; Dr. Marty Herron, pastor of Harvest Baptist Church in Barriguda, Guam; Dr. Doug McLachlan, former pastor of Fourth Baptist Church in Plymouth, Minnesota; Patrick Odle, pastor of First Baptist Church in Elyria, Ohio; Dr. Les Ollila, former president of Northland Baptist Bible College; Dr. Will Senn III, pastor of Tri-City Baptist Church in Westminster, Colorado; and Dr. Jim Tillotson, president of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary.

Conference attendees represented 108 ministries from 21 states, Guam, and Canada. One pastor says, “I really felt there was an intentional effort to make [the conference] enjoyable and refreshing. The service and appreciation directed towards us as pastors was very encouraging.” Other guests say that the conference was “spiritually refreshing,” “encouraging,” and enjoyable.”

“God blessed Faith’s Refresh Conference again this year,” says Kyle Cline, staff member at Faith Baptist Bible College, and the school looks forward “to seeing how God will bless next year.” Refresh Conference 2018 will be held Jan. 31–Feb. 2.
