BIG FLATS, N.Y.—Leaders of the Northeast Fellowship met for a Leadership Summit at the association’s ministry center Jan. 31–Feb. 1. The summit served as a planning retreat for the association’s future ministries and upcoming events.

The association’s trustees and two directors focused their planning on launching the Northeast School of Theology and Ministry, revitalizing churches, and preparing for this year’s events, including the Cross the Line men’s weekend in February, Focus 2020 teen seminars in March, Serve Boldly training conference in April, and Count It All Joy ladies’ weekend in September.

This year is a transitional year for the Northeast Fellowship, as Executive Director Jim Vogel and Associate Director Brian King will swap roles. “Brian King and I will switch roles in mid-2020,” Jim Vogel says. “At that time, I will move into a part-time mentoring and consulting role and assist him in leadership as he becomes the new executive director of our Network.”
