INDIAN LAKE, N.Y.—The Northeast Fellowship launched its third church revitalization project since 2015, this time in Indian Lake, New York. As part of the Northeast Fellowship’s Center for Church Advancement, these revitalization efforts involve a specific strategy that seeks to revive churches that are on the edge of viability.

Independent Baptist Church in Indian Lake, located in Adirondack Park, has potential for health and growth and is now being led by a revitalization pastor, Seth Finch, and a mentoring pastor, Bruce Scott. Many people, including area churches and the mentoring church in West Danby, New York, attended the church’s launch service. After the service, everyone enjoyed a picnic and outdoor games on the church’s property.
