Northeast Fellowship Appoints Associate Director

The Northeast Fellowship leadership team attends a planning meeting at the association’s ministry center.

HORSEHEADS, N.Y.—The Northeast Fellowship has called Brian King to serve as associate director. He and his wife, Judy, are now working alongside Executive Director Jim Vogel and his wife, Jeannie, in overseeing the expanding regional ministry of the Northeast Fellowship.

Brian was previously pastor of West Windsor Baptist Church, Windsor, New York, since 2011; a Leadership Team officer for the Northeast Fellowship from 2014 to 2016; and pastor of Peoples Regular Baptist Church, Maybrook, New York, from 1991 to 2010.

In his new role with the Northeast Fellowship, Brian will primary give administrative oversight to the association’s seven annual events, which include the Spring Ministry Conference, Fall Bible Conference, and conferences for men, women, youth, and couples. Jim will continue to counsel and support pastors and focus on the growing consulting and leadership training components of the Northeast Fellowship.

The long‐range vision in this leadership strategy is for Brian to potentially become the executive director in 2020 as God leads and the churches affirm, with Jim continuing as his associate.
