The Northeast Fellowship hosted a Twogether marriage retreat December 27–28. Sessions highlighted how God equips and encourages couples as they live together (treating each other well in everyday ways), lift together (handling hardship and having it strengthen the relationship instead of harming it), labor together (serving the Lord as a couple), and laugh together (enjoying God’s gift of marriage together).
“With over 40 couples, whose wedding dates spanned well over 50 years, the event brought great fellowship and forged new friendships,” says Brian King, director of the Northeast Fellowship. “Nestled on the scenic shores of Seneca Lake, Harbor Hotel in Watkins Glen, New York, provided the perfect backdrop for the retreat.”
During the event couples also enjoyed competing in a scavenger hunt organized by Larry and Paula Ellis of West Windsor Baptist Church, Windsor, New York.
