New Building, New Neighborhood for Oasis Baptist

HENDERSON, Nev.—Oasis Baptist Church, formerly in Las Vegas, constructed a new building about 16 miles south in Henderson. “We are excited for all that God has done to open up the doors and to financially enable us to be in our new location,” Pastor Aaron Flanagan says. “[God] miraculously got us out of a major source of debt in our previous facility and into a new location in the middle of an awesome neighborhood where we can love on families and grow in a healthy manner.”

The church had met in rented facilities until it was able to construct its own building. “God has allowed us to move into our new facility with no construction debt, and we are trusting that God will continue to move,” Flanagan says.

This year Oasis Baptist Church is focusing on reaching children and young families for Christ, primarily by emphasizing its children’s ministries. In addition, to better pray for, communicate with, and serve its church and community, Oasis Baptist developed an app. There, individuals can find directions to the church, read announcements, listen to sermons, share prayer requests, and give.

Flanagan says, “It is our desire here at Oasis that we would be passionate followers of Christ, and we are focused on loving the Lord and serving Him.”
