MARBC_inlineWINNEBAGO, Minn.—The Minnesota Association of Regular Baptist Churches enjoyed a trip to Washington, D.C., Oct. 7–15. The 33 individuals traveled two days by bus to get to their destination. They passed their time on the bus by having devotions together, singing, praying, and watching Christian videos. The group was also “amazed at the beauty of God’s creation as many places were in peak color when we traveled,” says Darrell Friar, MARBC state representative.

Once they arrived in D.C., the group visited the Washington Mall, the White House, Arlington National Cemetery, Gettysburg, the Holocaust Museum, the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon Memorial, Ford’s Theatre, and many Smithsonian museums. A special highlight was attending and encouraging Good News Baptist Church in Cascade, Maryland, a church plant led by Pastor Kurt Schroder of Continental Baptist Missions.
