ROCHESTER, Minn.—Members of Minnesota churches enjoyed a six-day trip to visit several sites across the Midwest and Southeast.

The group of 47 people traveled by chartered bus, starting from Calvary Baptist Church in Rochester. They first headed to the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio; then traveled to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter in, respectively, Petersburg and Williamstown, Kentucky; and ended their trip at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Museum, West Branch, Iowa, before returning to the church.

The bus trip is an annual event for the Minnesota Association of Regular Baptist Churches, although the venues change each year. Darrell Friar, MARBC state representative and organizer of the event, says the trips allow church members to fellowship with one another while visiting terrific sites.

Next year, the MARBC will travel to Washington, D.C. Friar says, “Although we visited this area in 2015, we plan to see some sites that were not on our itinerary on the previous trip.”
