Calvary Baptist Church, Rochester, Minnesota, made three deliveries to police departments in February to show appreciation for local law enforcement.
The church visited the Minnesota State Patrol, Rochester Police Department, and Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office. Each officer received a gift bag that church members had prepared, containing items including snacks, vouchers for free meals or coffee at restaurants, a copy of the tract Two Ways to Live, and an invitation to hear Manning Brown, director of Regular Baptist Chaplaincy, speak at Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday, March 5. Each officer also received a hardcover ESV MacArthur Study Bible, courtesy of Grace to You.
“The officers are being prayed for by name each day of the month by members of Calvary,” says Greg Linscott, pastor of Calvary Baptist. “Pray for the effectiveness of the gospel in the service and distributed materials.”
