Linda Brooks, president and CEO of Baptist Children’s Home, celebrated 40 years of ministry to children and families with BCH. In the last four decades, Linda has been privileged to help thousands of children and families locally and internationally.
Linda began serving with BCH in 1982 after completing college. Since that time, she has held many positions at BCH, including treasurer and chief operating officer. She began serving as president and CEO in 2020.
“I have been blessed to spend 40 years learning from my predecessors, and I am excited for the direction we are taking this ministry,” Linda says. “For the last 60 years, our mission has been the same, providing Christian care and counsel for family living. BCH was called into existence to be in partnership with and a resource for churches. We remain committed to this model. We are providing help and hope in fresh ways that help families receive vital care through our US and international child caring ministries as well as through our new trauma training initiative, BCH Cares.”
Linda has been driven and committed to the ministry of BCH and is passionate about meeting the needs of at-risk children with the gospel and love of Jesus Christ.
“Linda’s passion for this ministry is inspiring. She and her team are so motivated to care for children in the best way possible,” says James Pettit, chairman of BCH’s board. “This is an exciting time for BCH as we look for innovative ways to provide care to more children and families.”
