FLINT, Mich.—This year’s Men Modeling the Master Conference was an impactful day for men “eager for growth and change,” says John Scally, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church. The church hosted the conference, a ministry of the eastern region of the Michigan Association of Regular Baptist Churches, March 2.
Ken Rudolph of the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism spoke on overcoming fear and anxiety, a relevant topic “for every man, including myself, facing the pressures of life,” Scally says. “I believe that we will see breakthrough in the lives of these men and their churches in the days to come.”
Along with the speaking ministry of Rudolph, the daylong conference also included worship and fellowship. “There’s nothing quite like hearing that many men singing praises together to their Savior,” Scally says.
Scally thanks everyone who served and participated in the conference. “In a day where there’s so much negativity around us,” he says, “the Men Modeling the Master Conference was a breath of fresh air and inspiration to move forward for Jesus Christ.”
