DES MOINES, Iowa—Saylorville Church held its annual men’s Steak and Corn Fellowship July 30. Russ Matthews, a missionary in Sydney, Australia, spoke on being “wired for a rescue mission.” He shared why rescue stories connect with people personally, cinematically, and Biblically. “What an amazing night to be a part of at Saylorville Church,” Matthews says. The church promotes the event as a way for men to invite their friends and neighbors to the church.
