MARILLA, N.Y.—David Strope, GARBC interim national representative, enjoyed a day of ministry at First Baptist Church Sept. 11. He preached on “God’s First Model Church” from Acts 2, shared a ministry report about Regular Baptist Ministries, and met with the church’s pastoral search committee.
First Baptist Church is among many GARBC churches engaged in pastoral searches. The church began in 1873 and joined the GARBC in 1942 following its departure from the Northern Baptist Convention.
