MILFORD, Del.—A churchwide Valentine’s Day banquet is an annual event for New Life Baptist Church. This year members enjoyed an Italian potluck dinner, were photographed in a photo booth with props like hats, mustaches, heart-shaped glasses, and boas; and played games, including a “conversation hearts” game and racing to put together a puzzle (couples had to have one arm around each other and use only one hand). Pastor Troy Lavalle shared an encouraging message on John 3:16. Members of all ages, from children to grandparents, took part and enjoyed the event.
