Soteria Des Moines, West Des Moines, Iowa, welcomed David and Debbie Strope to its worship services Oct. 2. David is interim national representative of the GARBC. During the church’s three worship services, David shared an extended personal testimony and presented an update on Regular Baptist Ministries.
“One of the great delights” in his role as interim national representative, he says, is visiting GARBC churches and connecting with their staff and congregations. Visiting churches “is the fun part” of his ministry, he says.
Mike Augsburger has been pastor of Soteria since 2008 and is chairman of the Council of 18, the governing board of the GARBC.
