JASPER, Ind.—CrossPoint Fellowship Church held its outdoor church service called Church in the Park June 2. Every year since 2010, CrossPoint has been taking a Sunday morning worship service to the Riverwalk, located in the heart of Jasper, Indiana.

Mike Hess, national representative of Regular Baptist Churches, attended with his wife, Christina. “Mike preached a powerfully encouraging message from Psalm 55 with a big idea that no matter how overwhelming life may be, running to God, not away from God, is your solution,” says Leesa King, wife of Pastor David King.

Church in the Park always consists of breakfast, a worship service, lunch, and afternoon games and usually includes a 5K to raise funds for missions projects. CrossPoint was grateful for excellent weather, good music, robust preaching, strong attendance, and many visitors.
