TRUMANN, Ark.—Victory Lighthouse Baptist Church held its first-ever Christmas party. Although the decorations included traditional Christmas decor—a Christmas tree, wreath, and the like—the party was about celebrating Jesus’ birth. Three cakes spelled out “Happy Birthday, Jesus.”
Pastor Greg Clark says that God has truly blessed “over and over again” throughout the year. He says people need love, the kind of love that only God can give. “The goal is to try to be a vessel through which God can pour out His blessings on others.” To share God’s love and blessings with those who cannot afford to buy Christmas presents, Victory Lighthouse invited families to come and receive gifts for their kids.
“This is a great opportunity to share the love of God with every one of them,” says Clark. He asks others to pray for God to move at Victory Lighthouse.
