Calvary Baptist, Norwalk, Ohio, holds a garage sale to benefit Camp Patmos.

NORWALK, Ohio—Calvary Baptist Church held a garage sale July 25 to benefit Camp Patmos. All of the funds raised that day—more than $1,700—were donated to the camp, which had to cancel all of its summer ministries at a great financial cost.

Jordan Eiras, youth pastor at Calvary Baptist, organized the sale. He worked on the camp’s staff for five summers and says he was burdened to help the camp overcome its financial deficit. Camp Patmos, he says, “is one of the most amazing places on earth.”

Camp Patmos thanks Calvary Baptist Church for hosting the event, saying, “What an amazing church!” The camp especially thanks Jordan and his wife, Bethany, and “everyone else that worked so hard” to make the garage sale happen.

Camp Patmos, on Kelleys Island, Ohio, is part of the National Association of Regular Baptist Camps.
