ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill.—Ten camp directors and their wives from around the country met at the Regular Baptist Ministries Resource Center for a two-day meeting. The purpose was to establish communication lines and share networking opportunities with Mike Hess, GARBC national representative. All of the camps represented at the meeting are affiliated with the National Association of Regular Baptist Camps.

The NARBC and GARBC have held a strategic partnership for decades, and the NARBC has renewed its dedication to being part of the association.

“As the leaders met with Mike, it was apparent that all had the same goals of helping churches remain healthy by providing excellent discipleship opportunities,” says Jon Beight, executive director of Twin Lakes Camp and Conference Center. “These opportunities at camp range far beyond just what happens in the campers’ lives, but in the lives of summer staff as well.”

The meeting also included an extended time of prayer and strategic planning.
