COLUMBUS, Ohio—Immanuel Baptist Church hosted a community block party on the evening of Sept. 11 to kick off the church’s fall ministries.
Free food and family activities, as well as registration for Immanuel’s programs for children and teens, were part of the event. In addition, Cedarville University pharmacy students provided health screenings, and the local fire department brought a fire engine for the children to see.
Pastor Brad Rickard says the block party was “a great opportunity for our church family to reach out and meet families in the community and introduce them to the church in a welcoming way.”
