Calvary Baptist Church, Mesa, Arizona, moved its evening worship service outdoors around a bonfire Jan. 22.
“With song and Scripture, we worshiped our Savior on Sunday evening outside around the fire,” the church says. “The night was complete with warm drinks, good food, and family fellowship.”
The congregation enjoyed roasting hot dogs and making s’mores over the fire, along with singing and hearing the preaching of Pastor Dave Swope.
“Fellowship is a beautiful blessing and key to the edifying body life of a local church,” the church says.
