First Baptist Church, Caro, Michigan, honored its pastor, Marc Herron, for 20 years of ministry.
He began his ministry at First Baptist as a summer intern, and during that time he met his future wife, Amanda. That internship led to an invitation to serve as youth pastor and, later, assistant pastor. In 2018 he began serving as pastor following the retirement of Pastor Ronald C. Wigand.
A surprise service honoring Marc included people’s testimonies of thankfulness for how Marc has been instrumental in their lives or in the church. Topping off the service was the presentation of an all-inclusive all-expenses-paid trip to Israel and the Holy Land, to be scheduled at Marc and Amanda’s convenience.
First Baptist praises the Lord for its long history of faithful and godly pastors.
