ELYRIA, Ohio—First Baptist Church’s Women’s Ministries held its annual fall kickoff Sept. 8 with a ministry fair called “It’s about Time . . . to Come Together.”

Teams of women created informative displays that represented various ministries, filling the foyer with cloth-covered tables and attractive displays. Stitching Sisters’ quilts and embroidered wall hangings hung around the balcony above the main foyer.

A Missions Moment took place in the evening with inner-city missionaries to Cleveland. Thirty accessorized purses were given for the women’s Bible study at Faith Baptist Community Center and Church. Later several leadership committees gave reports and promoted their upcoming events. There was much excitement, and the ladies and the pastors agreed to leave the displays in place for the Wednesday night service. Due to the response, the ladies held the fair again on Sunday. Every woman in attendance on those days was exposed to every ministry and event for the coming months.
