Janet Imogene Lones, a pastor’s wife, died March 2. She was 90.
Janet attended Moody Bible Institute, where she met her husband, Clifford. They were married on January 17, 1954. For more than 40 years they served in several churches, including as pastor and wife in Michigan and Delaware. In the churches they served, Janet led a midweek children’s program, children’s church, Vacation Bible School, and choir. Clifford retired in 1995.
Janet was preceded in death by a daughter, Rachel, in 2013; and two grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford; five children, Deborah Gowell, Stephen, Mark, Timothy, and Daniel; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
