WAUPACA, Wis.—Charles N. Curtis, 96, died on July 1, 2009, at Bethany Home. He was pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Forest City, Iowa, and Immanuel Baptist Church, Newton, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther, on May 10, 1999; a granddaughter, LuDawn; two brothers, Tom and Walter; and a sister, Dorothy.
Survivors include four sons, Charles, David, Frederick, and Richard; a daughter, Dorothy Leeds; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held July 6 at First Baptist Church in Waupaca, where he was a member.
