What do you call it when 100 teens come together for one crazy night of activities, food, and fun? In the Delmarva Baptist Fellowship (Delaware, Maryland, Virginia) it is called the“Winter Thing!”
Missionary Phil Melton, serving in Japan with Baptist Mid-Missions, brought the wisdom of Proverbs to life, challenging the teens to guard their hearts for Christ. Teens enjoyed an evening of basketball, paintball, hockey, and soccer. This was followed by very little sleep, a morning of snow tubing, and a final challenge from Proverbs.
