New Life Baptist Church in Lake in the Hills, Illinois, hosted a 12-hour scrapbook outreach February 24, with the goal of opening the church doors to present God’s Word to the community. Of 21 ladies that attended the event, more than half were visitors. The day began at 6:00 a.m. and included breakfast, lunch, prizes, fellowship, and a devotional from Scripture. Each lady was given a gift bag with craft supplies, church information, and a gospel tract.
New Life Baptist hosts a monthly ladies’ craft night as well and hopes to reach new families through this ministry.
