LOWPOINT, Ill.—The annual men’s retreat of the Illinois-Missouri Association of Regular Baptist Churches took place at Camp Manitoumi on August 22 and 23, with approximately 80 men in attendance.  Bernie Augsburger, IL-MO state representative, spoke on the theme, “Men Being Real for Jesus.”  Brown Street Baptist Church, Alton, Illinois, served as host church.

Following the Friday night service a number of tournaments took place, including ping- pong, horseshoes, carpet ball, volleyball and three-man basketball.  The swimming pool was also open, and ice cream from the canteen was a big hit.  Saturday included the conclusion of the tournaments, the annual skeet shoot, and the chapel service.  After a good lunch, the men where free to leave for home or use the camp facilities for the rest of the afternoon.
