WAVERLY, Iowa—In appreciation of twenty years of faithful service, First Baptist Church members and friends held a special recognition for Pastor and Mrs. Brian L. Wilkins on Sunday, March 30, during the Sunday School hour. After a continental breakfast and fellowship, church members gave testimonials and letters of appreciation for all the Wilkins have done. The couple was also honored with gift certificates as a thank you for Pastor Wilkins’ ministry and for Mrs. (Joyce) Wilkins’ leadership of various church programs. The church family continues to be grateful to the Lord for providing a Godly pastor who faithfully proclaims the Word of God.
