STEVENS POINT, Wis.—Cold temperatures and snowy roads didn’t prevent a good number of men from attending the annual Wisconsin Men’s Prayer Summit hosted by Pastor Earl Swigart and the people of the Berea Baptist Church in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
Jim Vogel, associate national representative for the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches, spoke on the Bible’s teaching on prayer during the Friday and Saturday sessions. Four group prayer sessions focused on specific prayer for the needs of each individual church in the Wisconsin Association of Regular Baptist Churches. The men who attended expressed appreciation for the good time of prayer, fellowship and spiritual challenge that marked their time together.
