Pastor and Wife Feted for Faithful Service

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y.—Recently Pastor Teddy and Karen Herron returned from an all expense paid trip to the destination of their choice in appreciation of their ten years of faithful service at Glen Baptist Church. The couple chose to go to the ocean coast of Maine, visiting the southern coast from Old Orchard Beach to York. The Herrons are the first to serve Glen Baptist for a full ten years, and they remarked that “it seems as if we have just gotten started!” The time away was a wonderful time of reflection and refreshment and was deeply appreciated. Every church should be so kind and thoughtful for those who keep watch over their souls. The year 2007 also marks the 30th anniversary in vocational ministry for the Herrons.
