New Yorkers Tour Creation Museum

ENDICOTT, N.Y.—The three days’ bus trip of Empire State Fellowship tourists to the Answers in Genesis Creation Museum in Petersburg, Ky., was rated as one super time.

Fifty-six people from 18 churches, primarily senior saints with several younger adults and four children, made the 1,300-mile trek to see the reality of creationist Ken Ham’s dream. Although the museum is huge, it was bursting during the visit with more than 3,000 visitors, the museum’s busiest Wednesday since it opened in May 2007.

There was much to see and do during the group’s seven-hour stay. Everyone was thrilled with the stop in Henpeck, Ohio, to see the homestead cabin of Buddy and Kay Davis. What a gracious, godly, multitalented couple the group found, as they endeared themselves to all. The hours on the bus were filled with playing games, viewing AiG’s videos, memorizing Colossians 1:15–17 for daily devotions, interviewing people for a Make-a-Friend project, eating bags of goodies, learning about God’s creation, singing and listening to creation songs, and fellowshipping with the dearest of saints on earth. Accommodations and meals were excellent, coming and going. The group says, “Thank you, Lord, for a great trip to learn about your awesome creation.”
