“No matter what chapter of life is unfolding for you personally, God’s Word has wisdom to speak into your day-to-day living,” says Twin Lakes Camp and Conference Center.
The camp encouraged ladies, ages 13 and older, with these words at its two-day retreat on “Steadfast Joy.”
Teaching from Philippians, speaker Rachel Kimble addressed the question “How do we have joy and grow our faith no matter what?”
Rachel is a former camper and counselor at Twin Lakes Camp and Conference Center and is now a homeschooling mom to her two kids (ages 13 and 16) and is pursuing a master’s degree in Biblical counseling from Faith Bible Seminary in Lafayette, Indiana. Her husband, Jeremy, is associate professor of theology at Cedarville University. She says she “desires to see herself and others truly trust in the promises of God and find their joy in Him.”
Outside of teaching times, the ladies enjoyed activities that left them “refreshed and inspired for godly living in the season ahead.”
