Camp Manitoumi, Lowpoint, Illinois, hosted an apologetics conference for students in seventh through twelfth grades. The Foundations Conference gave students “a foundation to build [their] faith upon.”
Students arrived on a Friday evening and enjoyed a time of worship together. The next day they dove into the topic of the Bible’s reliability with Joel Willoughby, founder and executive director of Brains and Bibles.
“How can we know the Bible is God’s Word to us? Why can we trust it?” Joel asked. Answers to these and additional questions strengthened students’ faith and taught them how to defend their faith.
Joel enjoys helping people “bolster [their] confidence in the Word of God” because “it has all the answers for life and godliness.”
