The Illinois-Missouri Association of Regular Baptist Churches organized a retreat for junior high and high school students.
Meeting at Camp Manitoumi, Lowpoint, Illinois, the students enjoyed two days of activities, including hayrides, flag football, a zip line, hiking, outdoor games, and evening worship around a bonfire.
The retreat gave students a break “from the hustle, bustle, and busyness of life,” says Dave Fox, pastor of Grace Church, Springfield, Illinois, and a council member for the Illinois-Missouri association. The retreat was not only fun and laid-back, he says, but spiritually enriching.
Mike Show, a representative for Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, spoke during the event.
The camp thanks the students and their leaders who attended and Mike Show “for sharing the Word of God.”
