Iowa Regular Baptist Camp hosted its Renew conference for women Sept. 9–10.
Women from many Regular Baptist churches in Iowa attended. One was Calvary Baptist, Grinnell, Iowa, who says its ladies enjoyed “the beautiful campground and sessions in the Word.”
Faith Taylor, professor of women’s ministries at Faith Baptist Bible College, spoke on “glory grabbing.”
“The Bible strongly presents God as the only true object of glory, yet our lives are often characterized by seeking glory for ourselves,” the camp says. The women explored what it means to give God glory and how they can guard their hearts against the tendency to be glory grabbers.
The women also attended workshops and participated in camp activities, including a climbing wall and a zip line.
