HASTINGS, Neb.—This month 171 teens, 30 sponsors, and 18 drivers throughout Nebraska churches gathered for an all-night youth rally, marking the fifth highest attendance in the past 10 years or so.
Zac Fisher, from Temple Baptist Church in Lincoln and a student at Faith Baptist Bible College, Ankeny, Iowa, spoke. Zac is currently a part of the launch team of Chalco Hills Baptist, a church plant in Omaha. His message challenged the teens to be champions of the cross.
After the preaching came tournaments, wacky games, bowling, sumo wrestling, and a water slide. Various sponsors helped organize and lead the games and tournaments.
Something new this year was a computer that allowed those attending to blog their thoughts during the event.
