More than a Quartet

Women's quartet, Forever Be Sure

MULBERRY, Fla.—Shepherd Road Baptist Church hosted a women’s quartet called Forever Be Sure, a group that travels together only one week per year. This year they traveled in Florida, visiting six churches, including four in the GARBC: Evangel Baptist in Bradenton, Grace Baptist in LaBelle, Maranatha Baptist in Sebring, and Shepherd Road Baptist in Mulberry.

Three of the women are pastors’ wives: Heidi Bjokne Fuller (Rob Fuller, Derby, Kan.), Heather Bjokne Schopf (John Schopf, Eau Claire, Wis.), and Hannah Schopf (Andrew Schopf, First Baptist Church, Soap Lake, Wash.). The fourth member of the quartet is Sarah Engle, a missionary appointee with her husband, Jim (Baptist Mid-Missions, Germany), sent by Evangel Baptist, Taylor, Mich.

More than just a quartet, Forever Be Sure is a family-organized music ministry (two sisters, their parents, and their husbands) who compose songs with special attention to Biblically accurate lyrics. The quartet sings original compositions written by Heidi and/or Heather, and their music is available via download at their website. CDs are also available.

In addition to being ministry wives, Heidi, Heather, Hannah, and Sarah are stay-at-home moms. Among them they have nine children, from ages 6 weeks to 6 years—with two more on the way!

Of their Florida tour, they say, “The Lord blessed our efforts with health, safety, vocal, and team unity . . . and sanity for the babysitters at home! What a privilege we four stay-at-home ministry wives have to minister like this!” Next year’s one-week-only tour will be in mid-March and take the group to Arizona.

Pastor Gary Collins of Shepherd Road Baptist says, “We appreciated the ministry of Forever Be Sure. Their vocal sound was crisp, clear, and in close harmony.” He says that their testimonies between songs were genuine and relevant. “God has blessed them with songwriting and singing abilities, and I hope that they will have many more opportunities to serve Him together.”
