Man Camp “Unforgettable”

SEBRING, Fla.—Crystal blue skies and sunny weather at Camp Sparta was just a fraction of what men enjoyed at Man Camp Feb. 20 and 21. Men young and old began arriving Friday evening to enjoy a weekend of fellowship, great food, encouragement, and the challenge of God’s Word from John Greening, GARBC national representative, to become holy men. The session started out with almost 80 men raising their voices to sing God’s praise. The evening followed with the men breaking up into small groups to pray that God would teach them new and exciting truths that weekend.

On Saturday the men enjoyed the beautiful morning with good exercise, walking, or running while talking and praising God for a wonderful day that was in store for them. John Greening held two morning sessions. After lunch, the men stuck around for outdoor activities including tenniball and horseshoes. They even sent a model rocket into the sky only to be captured by a tall tree!

The men left with new friendships, smiles on their faces, and probably a couple extra pounds from all the great food.
