CARO, Mich.—On Wednesday, April 23, the ALIVE Youth Ministries of First Baptist Church in Caro, Mich., launched, “LIVE PURE,” a four-week emphasis on biblical purity.
Marc Herron, the pastor of youth and Christian education at First Baptist, planned the program to communicate a simple message to teenagers: God’s will for their life is holiness. The campaign came to a close on Wednesday, May 14 with the ‘Commitment Session’. Parents were encouraged to attend and support their child at this session. During this time students were challenged to respond to God’s call to a righteous biblical lifestyle and were given an opportunity to commit to a life of purity. This emphasis is a significant part of the ALIVE youth ministry at First Baptist.
