MASON CITY, Iowa—Ladies of Faith Baptist Church enjoyed a Ladies’ Night Out. The annual event was initiated 13 years ago as an outreach to unsaved and unchurched friends. Visitors make about one-third of the attendees.
Mixer games and a soup supper served by some of the church men preceded the program, which included songs, a skit, and a gospel message and testimony.
Then came activity centers, including frost-a-cookie, hand and foot massages, make-a-necklace, and make-a-paper-craft.
Snacks and a good time getting to know and encourage one another rounded out the evening, which broke up about midnight. Door prizes given out about four times during the evening were also great fun.
