PORTAGE, Mich.—Berean Baptist Church was the site of a February 4 ordination council that convened to examine Pastor Jon McGinnis, who has been serving as pastor of student ministries at Berean since July, 2004. Pastor McGinnis received approval and a commendation from the council for his preparation, and Berean is proceeding with his ordination on February 17.
