CRESAPTOWN, Md.—James Stargel, pastor of student ministries, was ordained to the gospel ministry by Calvary Baptist Church on March 2, 2008.
Rev. Bruce McBride, Sr., pastor of Calvary, gave the charge to the church, and Rev. Roger Evans of Heritage Baptist Church, Lakeland, Florida, gave the charge to the candidate.
The ordination council met on February 29, and 25 messengers from the Delmarva Baptist Fellowship and neighboring churches of like faith assembled to examine Pastor James.
