Iowa Super Bowl Party

Despite subzero temperatures, 72 men and teens attended the third Super Bowl outreach event at Greg Crill’s machine shed in Creston. Twenty-seven in attendance were visitors. At halftime the organizers of the outreach played an evangelistic video that clearly presented the gospel.

Each individual will receive a follow-up letter of appreciation from the First Baptist Church in Creston, Iowa, for attending, an invitation to the church’s services, and a brochure describing the ministry of the church. Follow-up appointment will be made by telephone for visitation teams to “return the favor” of their visit.

Door prizes were drawn and awarded to guests. The event was completely sponsored by Mr. John Weber and Mr. Greg Crill, who see the Super Bowl as an opportunity to reach friends in the community.
