CLEAR LAKE, IOWA—More than 500 Iowa men have met for the annual men’s retreat, which was hosted this year by Walnut Ridge Baptist Church of Waterloo. Dr. Rich Van Heukelum, senior pastor of Walnut Ridge, spoke on “Perils of a Divided Heart,” with worship times led by Mike Augsburger. In addition to the preaching, workshops, and small group Bible studies, the men also enjoyed golfing, trap shooting, and participating in a variety of camp activities.
